"Green croquette" at Febo

The Febo located at the Buikslotermeerplein in Amsterdam chooses for the most durable and energy efficient ligh, climate control and kitchen system.

The owners of Febo Buikslotermeerplein has worked for 30 years on its success and are not yet finished to continue to build on the success. While hiring an architect for designing the exterior of the new property, the Febo team thought green.

Were normally fluorescent light would be used, standard and Custom LED solutions from Illumisound were used were possible. Counter, food refrigerator and photodisplay lighting were customized for the specific architecture and equipment, while standard LEDVolution light fixtures were used in the kitchen area's.

The special and high-end cooking equipment allows to save on frying-oil by an unique filtration system to keep the oil clean, while heat generated by the stove is recycled for heating the property.

Overall, Febo Buikslotermeer Amsterdam saves 50% on energy, making them the "Greenest" Febo in the Netherlands.
